For whispers about faith
Amantu billahi wa rusulih.
I believe in Allah and His messengers.
Plain text (no diacritics)
A person finds within himself thoughts too grave to say aloud — whispers about Allah and religion that frighten him. The companions complained of exactly this: 'We find within ourselves something too grave to speak of.' He ﷺ said: 'Have you really found that?' They said yes. He said: 'That is clear faith' (Muslim).
Consider the answer: he did not call it disbelief, nor rebuke them. He made their revulsion at the thought a sign of clear faith. The devil does not burgle a ruin — he whispers to a heart that has faith in it worth spoiling.
The remedy taught is not to argue with the whisper or chase it down, but: seek refuge, then stop. 'Let him seek refuge in Allah and stop' (agreed upon). Turn away; do not keep looking.
Amantu billahi wa rusulih.

A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil.
A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim — and spit lightly to the left three times.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil — while spitting lightly to the left three times.
The Khalily app
The Khalily app reminds you at the right time and keeps your routine with you wherever you are.
No. 'Allah has pardoned my nation for what crosses their minds, so long as they do not act on it or speak it' (agreed upon).
The dwelling on it is the door. The prophetic remedy is to turn away. If it becomes severe enough to disrupt your life, there is no harm in seeing a specialist — obsessive-compulsive disorder is an illness with a treatment, and seeking treatment does not contradict reliance on Allah.
