A place nobody expects to carry a sunnah carries two. The reason is plain: these are places the devils frequent, so seeking refuge was prescribed on entering.
The leaving supplication is remarkable: 'Your forgiveness' — an istighfar. Scholars reflected on it and said: when the body is relieved of what harmed it, the servant remembers the weight of sin on his heart and asks forgiveness. It was also said: forgiveness for having left off remembering Allah during that time.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبْثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Bismillah. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubthi wal-khaba'ith.
In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from male and female devils.
بسم الله، اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الخبث والخبائث
غُفْرَانَكَ
