Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Rabbana atina min ladunka rahmah, wa hayyi' lana min amrina rashada
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.

When is it said?
This is a supplication from the Qur'an, and it has no appointed time — it may be said in any state. The most hopeful places for supplication are in prostration, at the end of the night, between the adhan and the iqamah, and after the obligatory prayers.
