The supplication of Nuh (peace be upon him)
رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbi inni a'udhu bika an as'alaka ma laysa li bihi 'ilm, wa illa taghfir li wa tarhamni akun mina-l-khasirin.
My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.

When is it said?
A supplication made by one of the Prophets of Allah. It has no appointed time and may be said in any state — and most fittingly in a situation resembling the one it was said in.
