Qul a'udhu bi-Rabbi-n-nas. Maliki-n-nas. Ilahi-n-nas. Min sharri-l-waswasi-l-khannas. Alladhi yuwaswisu fi suduri-n-nas. Mina-l-jinnati wa-n-nas.

Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.

Virtue: The Prophet ﷺ would recite the protective surahs, blow into his hands, and wipe over his body.

When is it said?

Ruqyah is recited over oneself or over someone who is ill, and repeated as the need requires. Blowing lightly into the hands afterwards and wiping them over the body is established from his ﷺ practice.
