O Allah, by You we enter the evening

Evening Adhkar

O Allah, by You we enter the evening

Allahumma bika amsayna, wa bika asbahna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namut, wa ilayka-l-masir.

O Allah, by You we enter the evening and by You we enter the morning, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the final return.

When is it said?

The evening adhkar are said from after the Asr prayer until a third of the night has passed, and best of all just before sunset. If you forget, say them when you remember: missing them entirely is the greater loss.
